Biography
Albert was born 8 Sep 1882 in Sanilac, Michigan. He was the son of John Tyrell and Margaret Elizabeth Grow.
1900 census shows Maggie (age 32) and John Tyrell (age 42) (Misspelled Gyrell) living in Moore Township, Sanilac, Michigan with their children: Albert (age 19), Ray R (age 9 (misspelled Roy), and Stanley A (age 0). Maggie has had 5 children; 3 are living. (Bertha Almeda died 10 Feb 1889 and William Roy died 8 Feb 1889)[1]
26 June 1913 Albert Tyrell (age 30) married Bessie Munn (age 30) in Lucas, Ohio.[2]
None months later, Bessie Tyrell died 13 Feb 1914 in Moore, Sanilac, Michigan at age 31 from antepartum and postpartum hemorrhage after giving birth to a stillborn baby. [3]
A personal letter in the possession of Kelly Riedell between cousins Clara Smith Wallis to Lottie Kelly O'Donnell corroborates Bessie's death during childbirth and loss of her baby. Clara's mother Emma, Lottie's mother Josephine, and Albert's mother Maggie were sisters. [4]
Albert died 31 May 1918 in Port Huron, Michigan[5] and is buried in Moore Township Cemetery in Snover, Sanilac, Michigan.[6]
