Biography
Marie Genevieve was born 7 Mar 1740. She was the daughter of Jacques Turcot and his wife Magdeleine Audet. She was baptized the next day in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, godparents were Joseph Lehoux and Magdeleine Turcotte (signature). [1]
On 7 Nov 1763, in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Jacques Foucher 22 year old son of deceased Jacques Foucher and Thérèse Meneuf married Genevieve Turcot daughter of Jacques Turcot and Marie Magdaleine Audet. No signatures, witness relationships not specified. [2]
Genevieve Turcot, 76 year old widow Faucher, died 26 Jun 1815. She was buried the next day in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans. [3]
