Biography
Jacques was born 5 Feb 1742, he was the son of Jacques Fouché and Thérèse Meneu. He was baptized the next day in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, godparents were Jean Baptiste Lehoux and Marguerite Racine. [1]
On 7 Nov 1763, in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Jacques Foucher 22 year old son of deceased Jacques Foucher and Thérèse Meneuf married Genevieve Turcot daughter of Jacques Turcot and Marie Magdelaine Audet. No signatures, witness relationships not specified. [2]
Jacques Foucher died very suddenly on 20 Feb 1809 at about the age of 66. He was buried two days later in Ste-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans. [3]
