William was the son of Alexander Townshend and Harriet King.
William Stewart King Townshend (1865-1963)[1]
William was born probably in 13 Sep 1865 in Parrsboro, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.[2]
The 1871 Canadian census lists William S King as a 5 yr old, Nova Scotia born, of English origin, Church of England adherent, living in Mill Village (Parrsboro), NS.[3]
The 1881 Cdn census lists as William S, a 15 yr old, NS born, of English origin, Church of England adherent, living in Mill Village, NS.[4]
The 1891 Cdn census lists him as W.S. a single, 24 yr old, NS born, Church of England adherent, civil engineer living in Parrsboro NS.[5]
The 1901 Cdn census lists him as a single, 35 yr old, 9 Sep 1865, NS born, English-Cdn, Church of England adherent, bank clerk, living in Parrsboro NS.[6]
He died in 1936 in British Columbia, Canada.[7]
