Biography
He is the son of Ted Thorley and Blodwyn Price. [1]
The Thorley family had a garage in Bridgetown. Tim would have learned some auto mechanical skills there. His father was also a gold prospector and manager of the gold battery at Marble Bar and Bamboo Creek. He was with his father in 1944 at Edelweiss, a remote mine south of Marble Bar. He became lost in the bush and when found he was taken to Marble Bar hospital where he died. He is buried in the Pioneers cemetery. His father died at the mine the following year and is also buried at Marble Bar.
