Biography
Merle Grace Thorley was born on 1 February 1916, at Dubbo, New South Wales.[1] She was the daughter of William Cecil Thorley (1883-1954) and Adeline Jane Woodley (1884-1937).
Merle married John Sidney Howey (1907-1961) in 1935, at Wellington, New South Wales.[2] They had two children.
She passed away on 7 September 1971, at Haberfield, New South Wales.[3]
