Biography
Desmond Clarence Thorley was born in 1909, at Dubbo, New South Wales.[1] He was the son of William Cecil Thorley (1883-1954) and Adeline Jan Woodley (1884-1937).
Desmond married Thelma Dulcie Robertson in 1928, at Dubbo, New South Wales.[2]
After their divorce, Clarrie married again to Phyllis Kathleen ( -1987).
He passed away on 29 September 1992, at Concord, New South Wales.[3]
| Desmond Clarence (Clarrie) THORLEY - Died 29 Sept 1992, at hospital, late of Concord, beloved husband of Phyllis (deceased), loving step-father of Frank and Joan (both deceased), and treasured grandfather of Terri and Barbara and great grandfather of their children. Aged 83 years. At peace. Relatives and friends invited to attend his funeral service to be conducted within a chapel of the Rookwood Gardens Crematorium tomorrow (Friday) commencing at 10.20 am. Please meet at the Crematorium. Metropolitan Burial and Cremation Society Burwood, Ph 744 2178.[4] |
