She was born 13 DEC 1665 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts^[1]

Note: IGI entries give two different b pl: Taunton, Bristol, MA; and Braintree, Norfolk, MA. Note that Norfolk not a county until 1793. One entry with the Braintree b pl lists her parents as Richard Thayer and Dorothy Pray. But note that Johanna did not name any of her daughters Dorothy, while she did name her first daughter Abigail. She married John Crossman 7 January 1689/1690 in Taunton, Massachusetts.^[2]

She died in 1734.^{[citation needed]} (Not recorded in Taunton VR.)
