Biography
This profile is part of the Steurenthaler Name Study.
Joseph was born on 6 September 1890 as son of Joseph Steurenthaler and Maria Wunderle from Zipfelhof in Rotwasser, Hinterzarten. On 12 September he was baptized in Hinterzarten. His godparents were neighbor Andreas Andris from Raimartihof and his aunt Karolina née Wunderle from Steiertenhof.[1]
He didn't marry and lived with his other siblings in the former mill of Zipfelhof ("Zipfelmühle") in Rotwasser, Hinterzarten. He passed away on 23 November 1965 after being sick for a longer time. He was interred in Hinterzarten on 25 November.[2]
