ANN HAYHURST of County of Harford, Maryland, who was sick in the township of Northhampton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, when on May 6,1789, shesigned by mark her will, probated May 25,1789, names children, JAMES HAYHURST, DAVID HAYHURST, HANNAH HAYHURST, grandchild, ANN HANAWAY,daughter SARAH NEWBERRY (NEWBROUGH), granddaughter, ANN NEWBERRY,witnesses; Hugh Edwards, Thomas Spencer, James Spencer. ANN HAYHURST will;In the name of God amen, I ANN HAYHURST of county Harford in state of Maryland being ? sick and weak in body in the township of Northampton in the county of Bucks and State of Pennsylvania, but of sound and perfect mind, memory and understanding. Blessed be God I at the same do make thismy last will and testament in manner following that is to say first of all I give my soul to Almighty God who gave it, and my body to be buried and ? in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors, here in after named, and as touching such worldly estate where with it hath prayed God to ? in this life I agree and? in the following manner andform. I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be truly discharged and paid out of my personal estate. Item I give unto my son, JAMES HAYHURST, and to his heirs and assign forever 14 acres of lease land he my son cleaning it out of the ?. Item I give unto my son, DAVID HAYHURST, a bow and the sum of 5 pounds in sterling or all that he is indebated to me. Item I give unto may daughter, HANNAH HAYHURST, my best bed and one blanket, two sheets and one bed quilt also a saddle and bridle or as much money as will ? has. Item all my ? quilt my ? gown and adding shirt. Item I give unto my granddaughter, ANN HANAWAY, 5 pounds insterling. I give unto my daughter, SARAH NEWBERRY, my pair of curtains which is in her possession. Item I give unto my granddaughter, ANN NEWBERRY, 5 pounds silver. The land which was sold to William Lee, I do inform as my executors here in after named to make a little to said William Lee and to his heirs assigns forever. Item I give all the remainder of my personal estate to be divided between my daughter, HANNAH and my daughter, SARAH, share and share alike. And lastly I do here by nominate constitute my two sons aforesaid executors to this my last will and testament ratifying this and not other to be my last will and testament. Date May 12, 1789, ANN HAYHURST. Signed, Sealed, published and delivered by the said NANCY HAYHURST as and for her last will and testament in the presence of Hugh Edwards, James Spencer, Thomas Spencer,N.B. Hanaway, we'll it being omitted that only daughter, HANNAH HAYHURST,shall have my ?. witnesses my hand and seal the ? year. Within written,ANN HAYHURST. present Hugh Edwards, James Spencer Thomas Spencer. ? for the 25th day of May 1789 appeared Hugh Edwards and Thomas Spencer two of the publishing witnesses to the forgoing injunction of writing which the said Hugh Edwards on his solemn oath and the said Thomas Spencer on his solemn affirmation did declare and say ? that they were present at the execution there of and say and heard ANN HAYHURST the ? there in named seal, publish and declare the same ? her last will and testament and that at the time of her so doing she was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of there knowledge and belief. Before me James Hanna, register, ? Be it remembered that on May 25,1789, the last willand testament of ANN HAYHURST conveyed and ? when letters of executory were granted to JAMES HAYHURST and DAVID HAYHURST the executors there in named they having been first solemnly affirmed will and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights, and creditor of the said deceased and within on month from the date here of adhere unto the magistrate office of the county of Bucks aforesaid ? ? and ? appointed of the same and within one year or when there unto lawfully required under just ? of their while administer item in ? where of I have here unto set my hand and seal of the said office. Penn. May 25, 1789. Executors at will finalization, JAMES HAYHURST, DAVID HANAWAY, and DAVID HAYHURST.
