Biography

Richard Henry was born in 1879. He is the son of Richard Smith and Agnes.

As of 1914 he was a grocer of Timaru. ^[1] As of 1919 he was a grocer of Commercial St, Timaru.

Research Notes

Richard Henry Smith (abt.1879-1950), husband of Chrisella Glue m. 1915, might be the same person but I have not found any evidence to say either way.

Chrisella Smith appears in the 1919 Timaru supplementary roll, although she is at Beverley Street, and not Commercial Street.

The 1922 roll has Richard Henry Smith, grocer, of St Kilda, Dunedin. Chrisella does not seem to appear at all in the 1922 roll.

In the 1925 roll, Chrisella's husband is a salesman of 18 Peel Street, Christchurch.
