Biography

Emma Bowyer was born in 1876. She was the daughter of Richard Smith and Agnes Unknown.

In 1897 she married William Gordon Bain. There do not seem to have been any children.

She passed away 23 April 1941 at Invercargill and is buried at Timaru Cemetery. Beneficiaries of the will include her sister Margaret Ellen Ryan, and children of her brothers William Rainsford Smith and Joseph Ernest Smith. ^{[1] [2]}
