His will is dated 24 February 1761 in Newtown and proved on 1 September 1761 in Danbury. He mentions his wife Martha, his sons, Nehemiah, John, and Thomas, and his daughters, Dider, wife of Richard Hubbell, Comfort, wife of Amos Turrell, Martha, Mary, and Rebecka.^[1]
