Eliza was married on the 2nd August 1879 in St Giles, Camberwell, Surrey, England to George William Bernhardt ^[4]. She was just 18 years 1 month old. George and Eliza continued to live in south London and there raised their family ^[5][6].

Eliza died in about Aug 1897 in Camberwell, Surrey (London), England. She was aged just 37 years. ^[7].
