Mary was born in about May 1848 in Maidstone, Kent, England, UK. [1]. She was the daughter of Philip George Rashleigh and Elizabeth Jane Mappin. She was baptised on the 5th November 1848 in Camden, London, England [2]. She grew up with her parents and siblings in north London [3].
Mary married Frederick Collins on the 1st September 1869 in St. George, Mildmay Grove, Islington, London, England [4]. She was aged 21 years 3 months. They set up home in Islington, north London and there had a daughter [5]. Sadly Frederick died shortly thereafter.
Mary married again on the 24th December 1873 to William Henry Williams in St. Saviour, Southwark, London, England. [6]. She was aged 25 years 7 months. They set up home in Camberwell, south London and there started their family [7]. They later moved a few miles east to Greenwich, Kent (London) [8][9] and then to nearby Lewisham, Kent (London) [10][11].
Mary died in about February 1925 in Lewisham, London. She was aged 76 years 9 months. [12].
