Please Note
Although I am the registrant of the Pollard study at the Guild of One-Name Studies, I was added as a profile manager of this WikiTree project only today. My thanks to Amy and Azure. The WikiTree Pollard effort has been inactive for several years and, while I intend to add incrementally to it over the coming few weeks, it will be a while before we can get it up to speed. Pollard is one of my great-grandparental lines, so I have a vested interest.
Thanks for understanding...and for helping add to the Pollard families on WikiTree if you can. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know. You can view one of my other ONS activities at the Threlkeld Name Study.

About the Project
The Pollard Name Study project serves as a collaborative platform to collect information on the Pollard name. The hope is that other researchers like you will join the study to help make it a valuable reference point for other genealogists who are researching or have an interest in the Pollard name.
As a One Name Study, this project is not limited to persons who are related biologically. Individual studies can be used to branch out the research into specific methods and areas of interest, such as geographically (England Pollard's), by time period (18th Century Pollard's), or by topic (Pollard DNA, Pollard Occupations, Pollard Statistics). These studies may also include a number of family branches which have no immediate link with each other. Some researchers may even be motivated to go beyond the profile identification and research stage to compile fully sourced, single-family histories of some of the families they discover through this name study project.
Also see the related surnames and surname variants.
