Maria Eliza Pozzi was born 21 July 1880 at 51 Dawson Street Dublin, Ireland. She was a book-keeper in 1901 living with her family in Dublin. She married Robert Menzies in Howth Road Presbyterian Church, Clontarf, Dublin on 26 March 1902. ^[1] In 1916 they lived in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. ^[2] Ria died 17 February 1952 in Sheffield, England^[3]

Ria and Robert had two sons, Robert and Roy.
