Biography
Josephté was born in Chambly, Montreal, Quebec on 31 October 1771, daughter of Amable Parenteau and Judith Angelique Simon. She was baptized the following day at St-Joseph-de-Chambly.
She married Andre Dubreuil on 1 February 1802 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly. [1] Together, they had the following (known) children[2]:
- Catherine, n. 25 Nov 1802, Chambly (St-Joseph), d. 3 July 1831, Chambly (St-Joseph); she married Pierre LANGLOIS SANSOUCY JACQUES GEMME on 5 February 1821 at St-Mathias.
- Monique Louise, n. 19 Aug 1804, Chambly (St-Joseph); Antoine DESMARAIS on 27 July 1824 at St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil
- Zoe,n. 3 March 1806, Chambly (St-Joseph), she married Joseph MASSE SANCERRE on 17 May 1821 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly
- François Xavier, n. 7 Nov 1807, St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, d. 15 Nov 1811, St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, (Died Young)
