Paola Palumbo is born around 1809 in Corleone, the daughter of Epifanio Palumbo and Caterina Marino, who married in 1805. Paola is named after her maternal grandmother.
She marries Giovanni Battista Tutino, son of Giuseppe Tutino and the late Anna la Lucia, from the Papal States, on 21 October 1827.[1]
Paola and Giovanni Battista have at least four children: Giovanni (c. 1823), Giuseppe (c. 1828), Vincenzo (c. 1832), and Liboria (c. 1841).
Gianbattista Tutino, 34 (b. 1800), Paola, 25 (b. 1809), his wife, and their children Giuseppe, 6 (b. 1828), Giovanni, 11 (b. 1823), and Vincenzo, 2 (b. 1832), appear in the 1834 census, living near the strada di Mannina, outside the second of two alleys off the strada. Paola's parents and four of their unmarried siblings, live nearby, as does her married sister, Maria, with her husband and children.[2]
Liboria is born around 1841-42, based on her ages at the births of her daughters.
Liboria marries Angelo Quaglino on 27 January 1861. Her parents are still living at this time.[3]
Giovanni marries Antonina Palmeri on 11 January 1863.[4]
