Biography

Wealthy Palmer was born 26 Nov 1759 at Stonington, Connecticut, the second child of Elias Palmer and Esther Randall. Whereas Wheeler published her given name as 'Wealthy' ^[1], the Palmer Groups reference source represents her as 'Betsey' ^[2], which probably was her nickname.

According to a grave memorial posting, the marriage of Welthy Palmer and Joshua Morgan is recorded on June 3, 1779, in the records of the Congregational Church in Colchester, New London, Connecticut.

Wealthy (Palmer) Morgan died 1 Jan 1843. Her grave is in Randall Cemetery, South Brookfield, Madison County, New York, USA ^[3].
