Biography
Welthy Morgan was the daughter of Joshua Morgan and Welthy Palmer. Welthy Palmer, daughter of Elias Palmer Jr and Esther Randall, was a descendant of John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley of the Mayflower. Joshua Morgan was a descendant of James Morgan and Marjorie Hill of Groton, New London, Connecticut. Welthy Morgan moved from Colchester, New London, Connecticut, to Brookfield, Madison, NY, with her family, where she married Watrous Usher. Watrous and Welthy moved on to the Western Reserve, called "New Connecticut", to Olmsted Falls, Cuyahoga, Ohio.
