Biagia Oliveri is born and baptized Blasiam on 12 November 1877. She is the daughter of Andrea Oliveri and Rosaria Streva. Her godmother is Calogera di Palermo, wife of Giuseppe Dragna.[1]

In the 1910 federal census of Manhattan, ED 344, taken 18 April, Andrea Olivero, 70 (b. 1840), heads a household at 346-348 105th St. with his wife Rosaria, 64 (b. 1846), and children Francesca, 34 (b. 1876), Bracchia (Biagia), 23 (b. 1887), Michelina (Giuseppa), 26 (b. 1884), and Bonita (Liboria), 19 (b. 1891---reportedly older at emigration). Andrea and his wife have been married for 45 years. Rosaria has had four children, all living. The family members were all born in Italy and emigrated in 1898. Francesca, Michelina, and Bonita are strippers in a tobacco factory.[3]
