Francois (Naux) Nault is a descendant of an Acadian

Francois, son of Basil Naud and Marie Helaine Lapierre, was baptized 30 Apr 1770 in the parish of Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup, Louiseville, Province de Québec. Date of birth not given. ^[1]

Francois Nault, adult son of the late Basile Nault and the late Helene Lapierre, and Marie Louise (sauvagesse), were married 28 Jan 1823 in the parish of Saint-Joseph, Maskinongé, Bas-Canada. ^[2]

The baptismal record for Hyacinthe, born 15 Apr 1820 baptized 30 Sep 1820, stated he was the natural son of Francois Nau and a sauvagesse (native) woman.^[6]
