Biography

Helene Lapierre was born 1 July 1743. She was the daughter of Michel Lapierre and Madeleine Caissy. She was baptized the same day at Beaubassin. Her godparents were Pierre Cormier and Marie Landry.[1][2]

When she was 22, she married Basile No [sic], son of Mathieu and Louise Arcand 7 June 1766 at Paroisse St Joseph, Maskinonge[3]

She passed away 4 June 1831 at the age of 94 and was buried 6 June 1831 at Saint-Barthélemy, Bas-Canada. Her grandsons Jean Baptiste and Louis Nau were present.[5]
