Born in Quebec but my name was officialy recorded on birth records as JEAN ARTHUR NASH. But my family and relatives always called me Junior or John because my father's name was also John Arthur Nash and it was also recorded/translated on his birth Jean Arthur Nash. The priest at my baptism translated my name to french and has been offically recorded as such when I obtained a more recent birth registration cerfiticate
First hand information entered John Nash at registration.

I see you are working on merges. Please review our Matching and Merging FAQ to understand your responsibilities in doing merges. It s important the Merge is done into the right profile. Check
During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is appended to the end of the text of the merged-into profile. After a merge, you will need to clean up the text by removing duplicate information and consolidating what is left leaving the profile with a single Biography section and a single Sources section.
The Help page on Biographies has a lot of great information on what to include and what to omit in a Biography.
Please also review all other family members for potential duplicates and review any conflicts in parents.
If you have any questions, just let me know.

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the Help section or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Good luck growing your branches, Patt
