Biography
This John Mosley (the first of three children of the same name born to the same couple) was born in late 1788 (shortly before his baptism at the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys, and St. George, in Manchester), and probably within a day's walk of the church. We believe he was a son of John Moseley and Catharine Stodhartt Moseley. He was baptized as "John son of John and Catherine Mosley".
This John Mosley also has to have passed away before January 1, 1791, the date on which the second child called John Mosley born to the same couple was to be baptized at the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys, and St. George, in Manchester.
