Kate was born in Christchurch in 1865 to Edwin Morgan and Elizabeth Price [1]
She married Arthur Godfrey in Christchurch. They had at least 7 children. [2]
They divorced in 1904 [3] and she remarried John Cowie the same year. [4]
She died in Wellington in 1915 and is buried in Palmerston North [5]
