- John Dillard Nash married Sarah E. Morgan on 9/26/1857 Madison Co., GA
- Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Nash, commonly known to the people of this section, as Grandma Nash, age 81 years, 3 months and 8 days, died last Saturday afternoon at 5:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Tennison, in this city, having been in feeble health some three years, but not seriously ill but a few days.
- Deceased has made her home in Clifton for the past thirty-six years, coming here from her native state, Georgia, and making her home with her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Tennison, most of the time since.
- One son, three daughters, one sister and two brothers are the close kin who survive this dear aged lady who has passed to her reward to suffer the troubles of life no more. The children are: John Nash, Oakdale, La.; Mesdames Mary Atkins, El Centro, Calif., T. E. Logan, Abilene, Texas, and S. J. Tennison, Clifton, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Cora Mobley, and two brothers, A. P. Morgan and West Morgan, Atlanta, Ga.
