Ellen Sarah was born on 23 Oct 1854 in Bryan County, GA to Matthew Mims Morgan and Mary Caroline Carter Morgan.^[1]

She was married to Julius Morgan Smith on 9 May 1871 in Bryan County, GA by the Rev. E. Q. Andrews, Minister of the Gospel.^[2]

She died on 4 Apr 1872^[3] and was buried in Bird-Smith Cemetery in Ellabell, GA.^[4]
