Biography
Fanning Asbury, also called Fannin, was born on 5 Apr 1839 in Effingham County, GA to Matthew Mims Morgan and Mary Caroline Carter Morgan.[1]
Fannin and Sarah Elizabeth “Lizzy” Hayman Smith Morgan obtained their marriage license on 8 Nov 1865 in Bryan County, GA, and were married the next day on 9 Nov 1865 by W. B. Mehan.[2]
He died on 4 Jul 1904 at his home near Ellabell and was buried in Bird-Smith Cemetery on 6 Jul 1904 in Ellabell, GA.[3][4]
