Biography

Nancy Morgan[1] was born in 1802 in Monongalia County, Virginia,[2] the third of seven known children and the first of three daughters of Uriah and Sarah Prickett Morgan.
Alternate year of birth: 1806.[3][4]
On 15 June, 1820, when she was in her late teens, she married John McArdle in Tyler County, Virginia.[5] . She bore him seven known children, four sons and three daughters:
  1. Electra McArdle
  2. Remus McArdle
  3. Naoma McArdle
  4. Charles McArdle
  5. Collins McArdle
  6. Uriah McArdle
  7. Albertine McArdle.
Alternate year f marriage: 1830.[6]
In 1836 the family moved to Vermilion County, Illinois.[7][8]
On 28 August 1839, when she was about thirty-seven, she died in Vermilion County,[9][10][11] of unknown causes.
