Biography
- Catherine Morgan[1] was born in 1762 in Frederick County, Virginia, the fourth of seventeen children and the forth of eight daughters of Zackquill Morgan. By his first wife, Nancy Paxton, she was the youngest of four children, all daughters.
- In 1779, when she was in her teens, she married Jacob Scott. She bore him two known children, a son and a daughter.
- She died in Monongalia County, Virginia of unknown causes.
- Catharine Morgan was born in 1761-63, in Monongalia County, Virginia, the youngest of four known children, all daughters of Zackquill and Nancy Paxton Morgan. Her father had another thirteen children, nine sons and four daughters, by his second wife.
