Salvatore Murello is born and baptized 6 August 1805 in Corleone. He is the son of Calogero Morello (spelled "Murello" in Salvatore's baptismal record) and Antonina Crapa. His godparents are Gaetano and Maria Russo, a married couple.
Salvatore is six years old (b. 1805) in 1811, when he is reported living with his parents and older brother in the cortile Addorata, in Corleone.
Salvatore marries Vita Cutrone, daughter of the late Gioachino Cutrone and living Angela Rizzo, on 18 April 1847. His father has died by this time, and his mother is living.
Salvatore, a farmer (villico) dies at age 60 (b. 1806) at his home on via San Nicolo', on 3 December 1866. His wife survives him. His mother has died by this time.[1]
