Antonina Crapa is born around 1773 in Corleone, based on her age in 1811. She is the daughter of Maestro Giuseppe Crapa and Gaetana Caputo.
Antonina marries Calogero Morello on 4 February 1797. Her parents are living.[1]
Antonina and Calogero have at least nine children: three daughters named Maria (1798, 1804, and 1825), Biagio (c. 1800), Salvatore (1805), Giuseppe (1809), Angelo (1813), Leoluca (1816), and Luca (1819).
The first daughter named Maria, after her paternal grandmother, is born and baptized 24 April 1798. Antonia is called by her mother's surname, Caputo, in this record. Maria's godparents are Luca and Gaetana di Giglio, a married couple. She is presumed to have died before her sister is born in 1804.
Biagio (b. ~1800) appears in the 1811 stato delle anime, age eleven.
The second daughter named Maria is born and baptized 1 May 1804. Her godparents are Luciano and Maria Jannazzo, a married couple. Maria is presumed to have died before the 1811 stato delle anime.
Salvatore is born and baptized 6 August 1805. His godparents are Gaetano and Maria Russo, a married couple.
Giuseppe is born 4 August 1809 and baptized the next day. His godparents are Leoluca Terrusa and Diana, wife of Antonino Terrusa.
In 1811, living in the cortile Addorata, are Calogero, 29 (b. 1782---he is clearly older than reported), his wife Antonina, 38 (b. 1773), and their children Biagio, 11 (b. 1800), and Salvatore, 6 (b. 1805).
Open Issue: Giuseppe does not appear in the 1811 stato delle anime. He would be two years old, and he is known to survive to marry. He appears in the following year's stato.
Angelo is born and baptized 25 August 1813. His godparents are Spts Baron Don Angelo and Donna Maria Teresa Cannarozzo, a married couple.
Leoluca is born and baptized 4 October 1816. His godparents are Giuseppe Crapa and Carmela Rumore, wife of Giuseppe. Due to the similarity of their names, Leoluca may have died by the time his brother Luca is born in 1819.
Luca is born and baptized on 26 December 1819. His godparents are Giuseppe and Francesca Crapa, a married couple.
The third daughter named Maria is born and baptized on 21 March 1825. Her godparents are Giuseppe and Francesca Crapa, a married couple.
Angelo dies, reportedly at age 18 (he is 20) on 19 May 1833.
Giuseppe, a farmer, marries Maria Grizzaffi on 4 June 1837. His parents are both living.
Calogero dies, reportedly at age 40 (he is about 57) on 16 January 1839. His wife, Antonina, survives him.
The surviving Maria marries Biagio Mule' on 12 November 1841.
Salvatore marries Vita Cutrone on 18 April 1847. Antonina is still living.
Salvatore dies at age 60 (b. 1806) on 3 December 1866. His wife, Vita, survives him.
Giuseppe dies at age 71 on 26 February 1881. His wife, Maria, dies two months later.
Maria dies, reportedly at age 85 (actually, she is almost 79) on 16 February 1904. She is the widow of Biagio Mule'.[2]
