Ann was born in 1826. She passed away in 1901.

Delilah Maxwell, born about 1817 in North Carolina, married 6 December 1849 Alexander Geddie who was born 15 March 1822 and died 12 January 1910 in Mississippi, son of Alexander Geddie and Anna McMillan.

They are listed in the 1850 Census of Decatur County (Dwelling 417) as aged 24 and 18, he as E. Gady.

Alexander served in two Indian Wars and in the Civil War. They moved to Louisiana.

Eleven children.

Alexander married second in Louisiana. Two children. 1. Robert Geddie. Three children. 2. Bud Geddie. No children. 3. Alexander Geddie died at the age of 21 years. 4. Martha Elizabeth Geddie was born 22 February 1859 and died 17 July 1905. She married 4 December 1878 John Davis Morgan who was born 1 November 1855 and died 30 August 1935. Thirteen children. 5. Joel James Geddie was born 9 July 1863 and died 17 April 1946. He married 3 June 1887 Emily Jones who was born 28 July 1867 and died 25 September 1936. Twelve children. 6. Ann Geddie. 7. Marv Jane Geddie. 8. Emma Geddie. 9. Katherine Geddie. 10. Fannie Geddie. 11. John Julian Geddie was born 13 June 1875 and died 27 December 1911. He married Mattie Wayne Cain who was born 4 March 1884. Four children.
