Biography

Church of Ireland Clergy

He was the 5th son of 1st Viscount. Hawarden.

He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, matriculated 27 January 1812, aged 18 , B.A. 1815, M.A. 1818, P. C. Lisnadill (Armagh) 1818-23, Rector Kinnitty (Killaloe) 1823-5., Rector at Enniskillen, County Fermanagh Ireland.

(Hon.) John Charles Maude was installed as Precentor of Clogher 11 March 1825 (D.R.)

He married Mary Ceely Trevilian, eldest daughter of William Ceely Trevilian, of Somersetshire, on 21 December 1815

On Thursday, the 21st inst. at Bath, by the Rev, Francis Newnham, the Hon. and Rev. John Charles Maude, brother of Viscount Hawarden, to Mary Ceely, eldest daughter of William Ceely Trevillian, Esq of Middleney, in the county of Somerset.

He died at Monkstown, Co. Dublin, June 21, 1860.
