Research Notes

This 1870 census record, in Henry, Georgia, shows Mary Manson (43) as born in Maine.^[4] A marriage record for Parrish Ayer Manson - in Maine - shows Parrish (m Amanda Nora Ellis) as son of Francis E Manson and Mary Jane Ayer.^[5] The FS transcription shows Francis born in Georgia, but the Image shows Georgia is crossed out and Va written in (but faint).
