DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Edward by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Edward:

Lewis-26936 and Lewis-8788 appear to represent the same person because: They are both married to Mary Bressie and they are both sons of Edward Lewis.

Hi! I just added Martha, wife of Edward Lewis, as this Edward's mother (based on entry of his baptism as son of Edward and Martha Liewes).

Two questions: First, please let me know if you disagree that that profile (currently Martha-106) represents the Martha that was his mother.

Second: I'm looking to correct the LNAB for her. Her profile suggests maiden name of Pegram but I have yet to find proof for that. I'm thinking that her LNAB should, therefore, be Unknown.

Let me know if you have evidence for her maiden name.

Thanks!

still working on trying to find her maiden name, but mother is probably Martha-106 (probably should change that to Unknown, but I don't want to give up on Pegram just yet!)

Cheers, Liz
