Jacques was born in the archdiocese of Tours, in Touraine (Inde-et-Loire). He received the sacrament of confirmation in Québec city on 10 Feb 1669. He married Madeleine David around 1683 in New England. 8 children known to the couple, the first 4 born in a village near what is now Manhattan; the rest in Montréal. Only 2 of their children lived to marry, the rest died young. [1]
Jacques Lepage died in Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal hospital and was buried on 25 August 1706 in Montréal (ND), the record giving him around 50 years of age.[2]
