Biography
Robert B. Lea was born in 1864. He is the son of Robert Lea.
Robert wed Luella Blanche Owen on 24 October 1888 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Together they had eight children: Mary Lea, Jane Lea, Sheldon Lea, Francis Lea, Bradley Lea, Blanche O. Lea, William Stewart Lea and Marian Lea.
In 1900 Robert and Blanche were living at 1306 (unreadable) in Allegheny City. Also that year they bought interest in the house Robert's parents had owned on 1410 Pennsylvania Avenue, Allegheny City from parents' heirs. The couple updated their new home adding a three story addition to complement the original Gothic Revival structure. They did not live long in the remodeled home. They sold it in 1905. The family lived at 1328 Locust Street, Pittsburgh at the time of the 1910 United States Census.
When his son Francis, listed him as a contact on his World War 1 Draft Registration card, Robert lived at 432 Atwood Street (near the Oakland Square Historic District) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Robert B. Lea passed away before 1930.
