The Salem, Ohio, News (Salem, OH) on 23 Aug 1955: Andrew C. Knox Andrew C. Knox, 81, of 2019 East Midlothian B.vd., Youngstown, died at 5 a.m. today at his home. He had been ill since December following abdominal surgery. Born March 4, 1874, in Youngstown, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Williams Knox. He was a life-long resident of Youngstown and was employed by the Republic Steel Corp as a foreman for more that 50 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Emma Wagenhouser, whom he married 57 years ago. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hofmeister Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake Park Masoleum. Friends may call at the Memorial Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
