Name: Noah D Knight

Noah was born in 1851. He was the son of Ambrose Knight and Sarah Merrice. He was a twin to Arnold T Knight as noted in the 1860 US Census and 1865 RI Census.^[1][2]

Noah married Emma J King abt. 1877 as the couple had two children under 3 years old in the 1880 US Census.^[3] Altogether the couple had 9 children: Isora F Knight, Etta Knight, Caroline E Knight, Everett Anthony Knight, Noah Day Knight Jr., Luella M Knight, Aurilla Elnora Knight, Eva G Knight and Linnie Victoria Knight.

Noah and Emma were divorced some time before Nov. 1907 as Emma was remarried to George Wisheu 16 Nov 1907 in Bowdoin, Sagadahoc, Maine.

Noah passed away 14 OCT 1922 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island and is buried the Brayton Cemetery; Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island, USA.^[4]

Research Notes:

Fixing Noah's birth date: His twin, Arnold T Knight, has his death date marked on his gravestone as "Nov. 14, 1899" followed by "Aged 48 Yrs 8 Mo 29 days."

The math; death date 11th month 14 days 1899. Stealing the 31 days of November's previous month (October) renders this -- 10th month 45 days 1899; subtract 8 months 29 days 48 years = 2nd month (February) 16th day of 1851.

U.S., Find a Grave® Index, 1600s-Current for Noah has a birth date of 15 Feb 1850 and his twin Arnold 16 March 1851; both wrong and the 13 month span between the two, who are twins, incomprehensible. Neither recorded Find a Grave® birth dates are sourced.
