Name: Ambrose Knight.
Ambrose was born about 1819 in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, USA [1] the son of Nathan and Elizabeth (Rice) Knight.[2]
Ambrose wed Sarah Merrice (often referred to as "Sally") 27 Aug 1843 in Plainfield, Windham, Connecticut [3] and set about farming first in Coventry Rhode Island,[4] and later moving to West Greenwich where by 1860 he had fathered 8 of his 10 children.[5] Ambrose and Sarah's last two children were born before the 1870 census.[6]
Ambrose passed away 25 Sep 1891 in West Greenwich, Kent, Rhode Island, USA.[7]
