Betty was born in 1923.
During WWII, Betty served as a corporal in the Army Air Forces.
In 1944, Corporal Betty married Corporal Melvin Zack in Hanford, California.
She passed away in 2000.

BETTY JEAN KING [includes photo] to Cpl. Melvin L. Zack, A. A. F., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Zack, of Kansas City.
The marriage took place Nov. 17 at Hanford, Calif., and was attended by Mrs. King and Mrs. J. E. Zack.
The bride graduated from the Nevada high school and later attended the University of Kansas where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. In August of this year she enlisted in the WAC. After receiving her basic and specialists training at Ft. Des Moines, Iowa, she was sent to Lemoore, Calif., where she is now stationed with the A. A. F.
Corporal Zack graduated from the University of Kansas where he was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, professional music fraternity, and Phi Kappa Lambda, honorary musical fraternity. At present he is stationed at Kelly Field, Texas.
