Biography

Celia Sandra G King (known as Sandra) was the daughter of Allan King and Pamela C Watson. Her birth was registered in the Holderness district of Yorkshire in the September quarter 1942 ^[1]

For most of her life, Sandra lived at Westwood House, Scarborough, moving to 1 Raven Court in 2013 (reference to be added from deeds).

Sandra's marriage to Charles Frank Gavan Duffy was registered in the Westminster district in the March quarter of 1966 ^[2].

Sandra was a lay reader at St Martin and St Michael and All Angels, Scarborough ^[3]. She also served as Mother's Union Archdeanery Vice-President for the East Riding ^[4].

Sandra died in Scarborough on 8 April 2017 ^[5].

Research notes

I have been told that Sandra ran a nursery school at Westwood, using the rooms her father had used for physiotherapy.
