He was the son of Peter King, 6th Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Charlotte Tredcroft. [1]He was baptised on the 18th of Sept 1775 at Dorking, Surrey, England.[2]He married the Lady Hester Fortescue, daughter of Hester Grenville and Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue, on the 26th of May 1804.[1]He died on the 4th of June 1833 at the age of 56.[1]
