McKendree "Mack" Barnett Jones was born in November 1870[1][2][3][4][5] in Plattsburg, Clinton County, Missouri, United States[1][2][3][4]. He was the son of Middleton Nelson Jones[1] and Emma Funkhauser Barnett[1].

McKendree married Ethel Alta Craig[6][2][3][4] on 20 September 1893[6][3] in DeKalb County, Missouri, United States[6].

Ethel and McKendree had 4 children: James Ewart Jones[2][3][4][7], Arthur Austin Jones[3][4][8], Thomas Middleton Jones[4], and McHendrick Barnet Jones[9].

McKendree "Mack" Barnett Jones passed away on 02 February 1929[5] in Altadena, Los Angeles County, California, United States[5].
