Event: "Disowned" in 1753 - She joined the Montgomery Baptist Church. [Margaret left the Quakers in 1753 at least temporarily]
Children:
Sarah WILLIAMS b: 1718 Gwynedd, Montgomery, Pennsylvania
William WILLIAMS b: 1719 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
Joseph WILLIAMS b: 1742 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
James WILLIAMS b: 1744 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
Jenkins WILLIAMS b: 1745 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
Mary WILLIAMS b: 1746 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
Enos WILLIAMS b: 1748 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, Penna.
NOTE by Chet Snow: Apparently Margaret stayed with Richard Williams despite her change of churches because she died in Loudon Co., Virginia, in 1795 or 1797, the same location and about the same time as her husband, Richard Williams, died. It is possible that she returned to the Society of Friends.
NOTE: At least one genealogy states that, "Lady Eaton came alone to Philadelphia from the Old World. She had been married before and was widowed." [2] This corroborates later family stories that her maiden name was Jones (a Welsh name) and that Eaton was the name of her first husband, who must have died young in Wales.
The Dyna Garst Tree on RootsWeb lists Margaret & Richard Williams as having a son, Joseph Williams, born in 1748 in Gwynedd Twp. PA; he was a soldier in the American Revolution. Other family genealogies give this son the name "Enos". This source also says Margaret's middle name was "Jane" (probably a misspelling of "Jones" as many sources cite her as "Margaret Jones Eaton" and at least 1 genealogy states that "Eaton" was the name of her 1st husband who died in Wales).[3]
The Sovelenko-Williams Family Tree says Margaret's maiden name was JONES (not Eaton): [4]
Marriage: Richard Williams b: 24 SEP 1692 in Marion, Chester, PA
Married: 17 OCT 1717 in Gwynedd MM, Montgomery, PA
Children:
William Williams b: 1719 in Gwynedd, Montgomery, PA
↑The Sovelenko-Williams Tree on RootsWeb - Margaret Eaton Jones NOTE: While it's very probable that Margaret's maiden name was Jones, it's improbable that she had parents born in Virginia, as sometimes stated, or that she was born in 1692 in Pennsylvania. Most genealogies state that she was born in Wales in 1697; at least one affirms "Eaton" was her 1st husband, who died in Wales,' name.
Note: This profile for also Margaret of Pennsylvania was detached as a daughter from the profiles of Martha (Batte) and Abraham Wood Jones, who have only one known child (Peter) and who are firmly Virginia people. Their daughter would not have been born/married in Pennsylvania. Noland-165 18:23, 24 July 2016 (EDT)

At the 10 Jul 1717 in Gwynedd, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania marriage, her name is Margaret Eaton. She is only 20 years old, so she probably didn't have a prior marriage.
The will by Mary Jones of Tredyffrin, is believed to be her mother. Perhaps Mary married a 2nd time to Jones. Margaret's LNAB is probably Eaton.
Eaton-786 and Jones-16779 are not ready to be merged because: There are differences in last name at birth and good, publicly-available Sources for both profiles are missing. I don't want to merge into one last name or the other until we are a bit more certain as to which was her Last Name At Birth and which was the name of her 1st Husband.
