It may seem morbid, but in the event of my untimely demise I want to be sure that none of my hard work on WikiTree ends up being deleted. While I fully intend on being around to manage all my profiles for the next 30 years or so, in the event of my sudden death I hereby give permission for all of my private profiles to be transferred to any of the following slightly-active WikiTreers in my family, whether or not they are currently on the trusted lists:

Thank you for participating in past Thons as a member of the Toddlin' Tortoises. Greetings! Are you aware Wikitree has a Poland Project? Check out our page to see what we are doing in Wikitree, how you can help and utilize the Project: Poland/Resource Library to see what information is out there to help you in your research. If you are new to Wikitree and are having a difficult time getting started, check out a Welcome to Wikitree page which will help you with the basics of Wikitree.
The Poland Project is very busy categorizing villages in Poland. If we have created a village category for you, please help us by adding it across other profiles you manage, where applicable. You can also assist us by finding and adding it to other Wikitree profiles from the same village through the Find link at the top right of your page. Scroll to the bottom, "Search for Any Text". Categorizing = connecting users or profiles. We appreciate any help you have to offer!
Regarding recent changes you've made: the Mayflower Project box should only be added to profiles with pre-1700 birth dates, and when a source is provided that helps prove the relationship. The category for Mayflower family is not needed when the project box already is on the profile as the category is already attached to the project box. Any questions, please feel free to contact me or ask in G2G with a Mayflower tag.
It’s time for our annual Ireland Project check-in! Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:
If you are happy with the team you’re on or if you’d like to make a change. It is now required that all members with an Ireland project badge work on at least one of the project’s team(s), so if you’ve not yet signed up please do so in your reply to this check-in.
What you think the project is doing well, and what (if any) changes you would like to see us make? Are there any teams you would like to become more active in?
Would you be interested in helping to work on an Ireland Project newsletter?
Please give us some feedback on the use of google group and discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way for us to ensure you receive project communications? If you would like to join us on either one, just let us know in your response and we will get you signed up.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. If we don’t hear from you within two weeks, we will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the Ireland Project, and your badge will be removed. If you wish to reapply for membership later, we will be happy to have you back. Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you for contributing to the January 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
You might be interested in some of the tips and tricks that we have included in the How-Tos that we share with new members these days. They were created long after you became a member so you never received them.
Thanks for taking responsibility for the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
If the profile needs GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, let me know by using the "reply" link for this comment or by clicking my name to visit my profile. From there you can leave a comment or send a private message.
Thanks for showing Scotland as one of your interests. If you haven’t yet done so, you are welcome to join the Scotland project via the G-2-G topic. The Project runs the Tartan Trail which encourages those new(er) to Scottish research to get to grips with Scottish sources. There is a wee bit of a wait as each person “hiking the trail” is allocated a mentor to assist and encourage them.
I hope you get a great deal of pleasure collaborating with colleagues in this great project. If you have any questions or wish any advice either send me a private message or email me.
The Ambassadors project has been reorganizing and is looking for those who have a membership at a genealogical society, to help in spreading the word about WikiTree.
We're working on ways to improve how WikiTree connects and interacts with genealogical and local history societies. This is the kind of thing we want to do:
Liaise with societies: set up your local society with a free-space page and some WikiTree materials as part of a package.
Use social media to promote what societies are offering on WikiTree.
Encourage bloggers to blog about societies and the resources available to them on WikiTree.
Are you interested in participating in some way? Do you have some ideas to share?

Regina.. please fill me in on changing Aaron Wyatts status from uncertain to confident. I would love to know for sure that he is Davids (my great great grandfather) father. Do you have a source??
Hi Regina. I saw your comment on Robert Parkers profile. Many of the Parkers are buried in Panquich , Utah. My stepfathers Mother and Sister are there. Are you related to the Parkers , Lambs or Nortons? You and I could share a possible 22nd cousin relationship. I possibly share a distant cousin relationship with my stepfather though the Nortons and Lambs. I might also share a relatioship to my step dad through the Parkers.
If you have not done so, set your Followed preferences to include DNA.
It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to private w/ public biography & family tree to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree
We also encourage you to join our Google+ Community for DNA discussions, questions & new information.
