Place Langendijck or Langendijk
There are more options ,mentioned 1330 as Langhendijc and in 1435 as Oude Langendijck,so there's the Langendijck, later Oude Langendijck and later also a Nieuwe Langendijck in Delft Oude Langendijck
sorry for my 'bold' action Philip, but just noticed the message, didn't realize there were two Jan Gerritsz as well , so just changed the other as well to make merge less complicated :P And indeed same thoughts I had, maybe Maddelien or Maddeleine was his wife, but unless there's a source for this, I guess we need some more research for this
The name Pieter Jansz indicates indicates he is "Pieter son of Jan". This refers to his Father's name. So Jan Gerritsz should be his Father "Jan son of Gerrit".
Maddelienen strikes me as a feminine pronymic "daughter of Maddeliene". Is it possible the mother and father of Pieter got improperly combined into one person in a previous database?
Set both Jan Gerritsz (Maddelienen?) as father for both to merge Pieter Jansz , so fathers now can be merged and when that's done, sons can be merged as well , is there a reliable source for the Maddelienen part (current last name father Jan Gerritsz ?)
Name of course should be just Jan with LNAB: Gerritsz
The man Jan Gerritsz (Maddelienen ?) is his father , not his mother , now both are set as father for Pieter Jansz, so merge can be completed , just one father remains , mother unknown, so have to do some research for this family ...
I had initiated a merge for this profile with This Pieter and I agree that Jansz should be the "son of Jan" and Gerritsz should be the "son of Gerrit", but the merge of this profile with Jansz-76 was set as an Unmerged Match because if the merge was approved then both mother and father would have the same name. I proposed a merge of the 2 Gerritsz profiles as well.
Ok I'll do some research for this family , strange names (his wife) again , hopefully can find some prove for these..
Set Jan Gerritsz Maddelienen (?) as father for Pieter Jansz (the man was set as mother ,but according his name Jan Gerritsz probably was meant as father for Pieter Jansz
